Full Release Update


This is the full version of Pokémon Berry Blitz that I have been working towards! It now has all of the elements which I had planned.

There are still somethings I would like to try and probably a couple more ways I could improve things but overall it is in a very good place now and works as intended.

Here are the changes made from the alpha version of Berry Blitz:

Enemy defeat cries added.
Title screen audio added.
Invisible enemy bug fixed.
Added respawn scene.
Added audio for when movement is not possible.
Added button select audio.
Added music.
Set last minute music.
Added berry collect audio.
Added berry combo audio.
Added enemy collision audio.
Added attack audio for player characters.
Added countdown audio.
Berry guide added to select screen.
Character select buttons replaced with icons.
Credits button changed.
Existing score mechanics reworked.
New score mechanics added.
Pokémon Defeated counter added.
Different Pokémon species defeated counter added.
Results screen updated.
Countdown elements updated.
Enemy attack animations added.
Logic to play the correct directional animation based on the player's position added.
Added health bar to UI.
Updated UI elements.
Added berry combo guide.
Berry combo guide position changed.
Tweens added to berry combo guide.
Some tweens changed to make them more visible.
Berry counting elements added.
Berry stats added to results screen.
Select Screen background added.
Berry Chain and Berry Combo counters and graphics added.

Added player intro graphics.
Added dash mechanics and stamina bar.
Fixed an issue which caused the player to spawn in the wrong location if the spawn point was close to the edge of the map.
Updated the size of player Pokémon.
Fixed an issue where an enemy could move outside of the map.
Updated the stamina bar graphic for when the player runs out of stamina.
Changed stamina to not be consumed when attacking.
Changed stamina to be recovered when collecting berries.
Increased the movement speed during fatigue mode.
Fixed an issue where stamina could be reduced below 0.
Changed dash mode to be deactivated if the player is defeated.
Added player select sprites to select screen.
Changed berry guide to fade in.
Added more elements to the select screen.
Changed the select screen background from an image, to an actual map.
Added more select screen Pokémon move patterns.
Added Hoppip gust to select screen.
Added Flygon flyby to select screen.
Added Starly squadron to select screen.
Added Butterfree swarm to select screen.
Added forest patrol groups to select screen.
Added flower groups to select screen.
Fixed an issue where Hoppip gust wasn't working properly.
Created secret select screen.
Added icons to secret select screen.
Added highlights and hover icons to secret select screen.
Separated water and blocked layers of the map so that attacks can pass over water tiles.
Fixed an issue with enemies not moving after using up or down attacks.
Fixed an issue were stamina wouldn't begin recovering if attacked by an enemy.
Added Pokémon joust and Starmie stars to secret select screen.
Reworked flying Pokémon appearance patterns on secret select screen.
Finished adding Gardevoir dancers.
Added berry runners to secret select screen.
Added attack display to secret select screen.
Added rival battles to secret select screen.
